When it was built in the 1990s, Panache was an over-engineered, beautifully equipped mobile home, with a 12′ x 7’6″ master bedroom, a twin room, a huge sitting room with additional sleeping space, a shower room with toilet, a nice kitchen and a cosy dining area.
There is a gas fire in the sitting room to keep you warm, a flat-screen TV and a pleasant ambience with stunning sunsets and west-facing views over our fields and down to the valley. In summer you can eat outside on the terrace.
Panache is self-catering, but you can upgrade to having breakfast when you book. Also, you can either bring your own bedding and towels for Panache or pay just a bit extra to have all that provided.
Please note: Once you have selected your days and any extras, choose ‘Make a Reservation’ next to ‘Please select a booking option’ then click ‘Add to Basket’, then ‘View Cart’, then ‘Proceed to Payment’, which takes you to the payment page. Your reservation is confirmed upon payment. We’ll look forward to welcoming you to Grey Alders!
Panache is ideal for those who like their accommodation somewhat retro, as we haven’t upgraded anything except the bathroom floor and the roof insulation! Panache is priced to give you an affordable relaxing break in glorious countryside.
The large sitting room makes Panache an ideal centre for a small church retreat as it can seat around a dozen people for prayer or Bible study. (You can accommodate everyone using our other rooms.)
