Faith, Farming and Fellowship

Just a note: this event is for able-bodied people who do not mind getting stuck into some outdoor work. For the avoidance of doubt. there is no vegetarian option.

Click HERE for our farming opportunity.

We’ll expect you on Friday 23rd October for an evening meal. We’ll do a full day’s work on Saturday 24th. Sunday is a day of rest, but we may go and walk in the steps of a local sixth-century man of God. You’ll leave Monday morning (26th October) after breakfast. There will be times of worship and prayer.

You will enjoy three hearty breakfasts and three evening meals. At least two of those will be based around our super-aged beef or mutton.

On Saturday, you may find yourself building a fence, preparing firewood, giving sheep a ‘drench’ medicine or trimming their feet. You could be clearing bracken or brambles. Bring wet weather clothing just in case, Wellington boots and stout gloves.
